Flip Speakers Positioning

Updated: Jun 9

The Flip Speakers Positioning is to ensure the most compact setup without compromising sound quality. The uniqueness of Flip Speakers is the reliance on a reflective surface for the sound produced from the back speaker to form the back layer behind the frontal speakers. A subtle difference may be heard if users apply different reflective materials for sound reflection but a common household wooden wall or concrete with wallpaper produces high-quality sound results.

Users who demand maximum sound quality may want to use Trapezoid speakers positioning or apply high-quality reflective panels, such as professional sound reflectors or hard-surface plywood as the reflective material for back speakers.

For those with sophisticated setups and room treatment, please consider excluding treatment from the wall area directly facing the back speakers. The remaining areas of the room shall be treated as usual.

Frontal Speakers Placement

Position the front speakers (inner pair) at ear level, using optional speaker stands if necessary (stands not included). Place them in a standard left-right arrangement.

Backend Speakers Placement

Position the back speakers (outer pair) at ear level, using optional speaker stands if necessary (stands not included). Place them in line with the front speakers but facing towards the wall, set at a distance equivalent to 20% of the space between the optimal listening position (e.g., your chair) and the front speakers.
